This week we’re excited to announce the winners of the Connect Hearing Margaret Hallam Legacy Scholarship for an aspiring Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Practitioner.
Congratulations to Hailey Ainlay, who is enrolled in an MSc Audiology at Dalhousie University and...
Lauren Noyes, who is completing the Hearing Aid Practitioner program at Grant MacEwan University.
As a member of the review committee, it has been inspiring reading applications from students entering their final year of studies. Many have done practicums and have already begun seeing the difference they can make in peoples’ lives. I’m energized by their enthusiasm and reasons for entering the field of hearing healthcare.
Margaret Hallam was dedicated to teamwork and client care as well as being a champion for better hearing. This scholarship acknowledges the experience and foundation the past provides, while celebrating the values that our Connect Hearing professionals carry on today. In Hailey’s words, “we are ensuring seamless care for the client and a thorough understanding of our clients’ communication and lifestyle needs.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
We are proud to support the next generation of hearing professionals. They are the future of hearing healthcare and helping people stay connected to the sounds that connect us to our world.
